I need your help

Friends,
As many of you know, the book has gone extremely well thus far. So well, in fact, that they are already out of print! We were able to offer them at no charge thanks to the generosity of LCMS World Relief & Human Care.
This brings me to my plea. Every box or book that went out included a donation envelope. They are currently trying to figure out how to do a second printing, but I expect it will come down in part to dollars and cents.
If you received a copy of the book and found it of benefit, I would ask you to consider making a donation to LCMS World Relief. You can send it and ask if they would consider reprinting it. I know that everyone want to do so, but finances are tight everywhere right now. Obviously I am biased, but I believe that a copy of this book ought to be sent to every pastor in the LCMS, or at least every circuit counselor. But to do this will cost several thousand dollars.
I’ll keep you all informed as I learn more. Thanks again to the good people at LCMS World Relief and Human Care for making this resource available!
-Pastor Todd Peperkorn

I never received mine. I think I’m on some kind of synodical blacklist. 8^(

Call me (again) and I’ll find out what happened, Rev. Esget.

Is there a way to donate online and indicate interest in more printed books? The online donation page doesn't seem to have a comment area.

I will figure out the online donation process.

Rev. Peperkorn,
Your book blew me away when I first read the pdf file. At the time I was just realizing that I was burnt out and so I really identified (in a less intense version obviously) with what you shared in the book. I now have a couple of hard copies to give away and my non-Lutheran parents are interested in reading it. I will be giving serious thought to giving a donation for doing a reprint. I pray that happens. Given the interest that the book has seen it is obvious that this is something that is really needed.
Under Christ's Blood,
The Rev. Benjamin Pollock

This book should become a "Lutheran classic." It is disturbing to imagine how many pastors have engaged the same struggles as Peperkorn, all the while denying themselves the same grace they are called to give out to others. This book reminds all Christians that the Lord has not called them to be "supermen/women," but to make good use of the gift of faith in the midst of personal struggles and depression. Pastors especially should read this, whether they think they are depressed or not.

Is it possible to get a copy?

I was able to get a PDF version. I will watch for the second printing.
Thanks for an important resource to deal with the hidden issues of pastoral ministry.
